Dr.
Widman is a board certified Family Physician and practices Family
Medicine in San Rafael, California. She is an Assistant Clinical
Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine,
UCSF School of Medicine, San Francisco. She earned her undergraduate
degree in Chemistry at the University of Florida, graduated from
the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed her Family
Medicine Residency also at the University of Miami School of Medicine.
She is a member of the California Academy of Family Physicians,
California Medical Association and the American Academy of Family
Physicians.
Dr. Widman specializes in women’s medicine and fully understands the Butterfly Life member and their needs. She strongly believes in the importance of the mind, body, spirit connection, and stresses the importance of the “whole” person when educating her patients. She has never labeled herself as an alternative physician, but has designed her practice of Family Medicine with a “special interest” in women's health and preventive health practices.
She feels blessed and honored to be a family physician, as it is much more than a job. She loves her patients and helps them improve their lives in many areas that reach beyond just medicine.
